The Duel

In this couch-versus game two players run and jump through a trap filled obstacle course and try to reach the golden pistol first. The levels are symmetrical, and the two players are completely separated. The only way to obstruct your opponent, if he or she enters a part of the map where there's an electric grid in the background, and you happen to be near a big red button. That'll be a shocking experience for your opponent. :)

Controls:

Player 1                                         Player 2
ARROW KEY LEFT - RIGHT       A - D                       : walk left or right
ARROW KEY UP - DOWN         W - S                      : climb up-down or look up-down
R-CTRL or 0/INS                         L_CTRL or SPACE  : jump

ESC : menu

Gamepad controls (both player can play with controllers):
STICKS or DPAD : walk and climb or look up-down
A : jump

Only splitscreen couch-versus play is possible.

I built two set of maps, designed by my lovely girlfriend Allegra. I also made an easy and a hard mode: the maps are the same, just some additional threats, and a bit less checkpoints are placed.

This is still flagged as a prototype. There could be some issues, tho I managed to fix some bugs compared to the last version. I also made some parts easier, so it won't be that much of a hindrance or frustrating.
